Aging in Place: Creating Livable Communities for Older Hoosiers

Sept. 13-14, 2010

A diverse group of aging professionals in aging, housing, planning design, and community development attended a two day workshop sponsored by the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development funded by the Indiana Community and Housing Development Authority. The workshop included a mini-charrette for the NE town of Kendalville, for the purpose of envisioning a "community for a lifetime" district, with innovations in housing, mobility, commerce, supportive services, and public policy.
