AgingIndiana Becoming Communities for a Lifetime

April 11, 2012

The AgingIndiana website is getting a name change! This week you'll find our new banner going up and a new address in your browser window:

In an ongoing initiative to promote planning for communities that are elder-friendly, we recognize the importance of working towards environments that are livable for young people as well as old, for those with disabilities as well as those without. The new name highlights that focus.

The website will be adding relevant information and features, including resources related to Indiana's Communities for a Lifetime Planning Project. The project is an exciting pilot program of the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. Currently there are three pilot locations: Huntington, Valparaiso and Linton.

The research documents and other content you've found on the AgingIndiana website haven't gone anywhere, not to worry. And you can still type into your browser to get to the Communities for a Lifetime website.
